The brief

Alfaiataria Luiz Laporta is a tailoring house in Brasília. They had no system for managing fittings, and no way to sell beyond the shop itself — every appointment and every order went through a conversation.

The app covers both: browse the collection, order, and book a fitting with a tailor, choosing the location and the time slot yourself. Sharing, favourites and comments are planned, and deliberately not in version one.

I built this with Lucas Alencar. He built the Firebase data model; I worked on the front end.

What I worked on

  • Rebuilt the booking screens and added an interactive calendar, so choosing a date and a time slot happens in one pass
  • Catalogue filters, and the componentisation behind them
  • The coupon feature at checkout
  • The bottom navigation bar
